Angelique and Naledi arranged a trip on the Chobe Princess Houseboat on the Chobe River for my husband and myself - and it was a trip of a lifetime! Besides the ultra-luxury accommodation on the houseboat, attention to detail by the fabulous staff, and the delicious gourmet cuisine, the game viewing from the boat surpasses any safari I have ever done. Elephants, lion, crocs, hippos, giraffes, buffalo, to name a few of the incredible sightings along the river's edge. Birding was an experience all on its own... absolutely unforgettable! Watch the sunrise over the Chobe River on one side of the boat, while the moons sets on the opposite side. Sunsets each evening on the sundowner safari will render you speechless...
Three nights on the Houseboat left us feeling as though we had been away for a few weeks - relaxed and ready to return to civilization... but only for a year! We will be back with our family next year (and hopefully annually thereafter)!
